How to Volunteer

Samaritans are caring deeply committed and trained volunteers who wish to be of service to others.

Are you a good listener? Then you may make a good Samaritan. Call 508-673-3777 or toll free 866-508-4357, for more information about becoming a Samaritan, or email samsfrnb@aol.com.

What Do Samaritans Do?

Samaritans befriend the callers. Samaritans are empathetic listeners, whether for a person who calls one time or for another who needs to call back until the situation is improved.

Samaritans DO NOT advise, counsel or diagnose. They DO however help the caller to explore options not thought of by the caller. Contact us today for more information.
